David's 7 startups make $8.5M ARR

I met the underdog @Davidjpark96 yesterday. He invited us to his office in Seoul. There are 10ish people working with him and a whiteboard with the secret marketing sauce: "ROAD TO $10M ARR = 80 UGC CONTENT CREATORS" (currently his 7 startups make $8.5M ARR) We chat for a bit. You can tell how smart David is by how fast he thinks and replies. I felt a bit lost ngl 😁 Also, we laughed at how entrepreneurship could have a different look. For him, it's building a ship of super smart pirates. For me, it's shipping 100 tiny startups. Later, other cool people joined. David ordered pizzas (and a salad for BORING people like me!!). We were a group of 20ish. Now there are many indie hackers in Korea, like @chrissyinspace and @brianshinsh (he quit VC to bootstrap) and VC startups like David and @josephstein (he just got into YC!) I felt lonely in Korea in 2017 because there were only a handful of VC startups. But now the ecosystem is much bigger, and you can just pop into David's office and it feels like you're in San Francisco 😁 Thanks for having us, 대표님!
