Airbnb in France cost me $10,000 and was terrible

Airbnb in France is terrible. Everybody wants to make a few extra bucks by renting a room or a place they inherited but have 0 sense of hospitality. Last month, I spent $10,000 on a place where appliances kept breaking, the WiFi was unusable, and there was constant noise from neighbors. The owner offered us one free cleaning as a "kind" gesture. Airbnb in Korea, Australia, and New Zealand was much better.
