CodeFast landing page converts like crazy: - $4.74 revenue per visitor - 2.2% conversion rate But one week ago when I sent the landing page to my friends @DanKulkov and @nico_jeannen... I got ROASTED. So I did a U-turn and rebuilt the website from scratch. Now I'm not "in my head" anymore, I can confidently say: The first version would have never worked as well as the current one. 💡 Two takeaways: 1. Always ask for feedback (and listen). It's painful, but it helps break the disillusion we create when we want something to succeed. 2. Encourage your friends to roast you. People are naturally kind and may hold back negative feedback. Let them know it's helpful if they focus more on the bad than the good.
