I read Who Moved My Cheese to handle change better
I just finished this book my friend @alexwestco recommended. It’s a short story about dealing with change. I liked it because I’ve struggled to accept that things won’t be the same tomorrow. You can get sick. You can get banned from X. You can lose money. I remember when ShipFast peaked at $130k/mo and dropped to $45k/mo a few months later. It sounds stupid, but I felt like a failure for not being able to keep the business afloat. I’m still working on it, but I’ve learned not to take everything too seriously. It helps me deal with sudden changes more easily, and that’s exactly what this book is about. Happiness depends on how much you’re giving a shit :) Give it a read!
